For the price, the guest house is basic but reasonable. I had trouble communicating because none of the staff I met spoke English, so I ended up hiring a guide to interpret. The reservation problem was very frustrating. After two days, they asked me to move rooms, saying someone had been in the room I'd booked online and, since that person had left, I should take that room. I refused and felt harassed. The staff apologized later, and I stayed three more days. Apart from that, transport and security were okay.

The welcome from the staff was really warm, and they were very cool. La Grande Vi is a quiet Guest House in Cocody Rivuera Palmeraie; Rue Ministre, a good spot for a discreet, restful stay. The accommodation was very good for a Sejour in Cote d'Ivoire.

A decent place, though it seems better suited to a longer stay than a quick trip.
