I really like the rooms, restaurant, gym, and the way the whole hotel is set up. The standard is remarkable, and that’s earned my respect. I’ll keep coming back. I met a few people there on vacation and others there for work, and we had a good time chatting. Given the interior, I wouldn’t call it too expensive, and it has a British standard. Just a nice, beautiful place.

The staff were friendly, and the place was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was really good, with lots of choices.

It’s handy if you’re working nearby, since Novotel Plateau is right in the center of Abidjan’s business district. The neighborhood stays busy and lively. The building’s a bit old, but the hotel is decent and comfortable.

8/10
My room was always kept neat, and the staff are professional and friendly. My only concern is the first elevator, which keeps developing problems even after being reported and repaired. I hope it gets a thorough check soon, since it could be a safety concern. Apart from that, everything at Novotel Plateau is lovely, and I’ll definitely be back.

There are some downsides for tourists: the hotel is in a business and government district, with few nearby restaurants, and it’s not very walkable to attractions or shopping. Music in the lobby and restaurant is also so loud it’s hard to have a conversation, and the refund policies are rigid. The restaurant is very expensive, though breakfast has a good selection. The hotel is upscale, clean, and nice, with spacious, comfortable rooms and a nice pool and deck overlooking the river.
