The only real snags were the hot water heater, which had a problem for several days, and the internet, which kept fluctuating. They did try to work on the heater, and I hope they can improve the connection. Even so, I loved my five days in a duplex and plan to stay here whenever I come to Abidjan. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, with the bedroom and full bathroom upstairs. Downstairs were the living and dining areas, a guest toilet, kitchen, and a nice terrace. The bed was very comfortable, and the soft, good-quality sheets were well laundered. The peaceful location in 7ème tranche made it easy to walk to good places for food and drinks. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and the laundry service was quick and excellent.

The rooms are huge, and the price is still a little lower than at competing places. The small restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the people there treated us very kindly. It's a splendid option for central Abidjan, with a lovely, relaxing feel and a warm welcome.

The neighbourhood was quiet, which I liked, and the night guard was always alert. Everyone I met spoke English and French. The night receptionist was good, though the day receptionist was just so-so. I stayed four nights and my room wasn't cleaned once. I asked on the third day, but it still didn't happen, and I don't know why. They also expect you to leave your keys whenever you go out, which was new to me, but okay. From room 05, I could hear people talking on the stairs, in the lobby, and by the pool, so it was noisy. The Ethernet was down; they tried to fix it, so I won't hold that against them. I didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the food.

The only drawback is the location, since it's not in a central area like Plateau or Marcory. Taxis are plentiful, easy to hail, and inexpensive, though, so getting around is simple. It's a quiet, small, and safe place in a residential part of Abidjan. The service is excellent, and the food is above average. There's a small, impeccably clean pool and free WiFi throughout. The second-floor kitchen rooms are spacious duplexes, with the sitting room, kitchen, and toilet downstairs, and the bedroom and full bath upstairs. There's also a small terrace off the sitting room. I highly recommend this hotel.
