The lunch and dinner dishes were tasty and well prepared, and the staff were wonderfully helpful. Nature all around gives the place a lovely feel, with warm blue water under the golden sun. One colleague did point out sharply that the rooms could use an electrical upgrade.

A boat makes it easy to reach the beach during the day, and the pool and grounds are lovely and well cared for. Breakfast comes with the room: an omelette, pastries, bread, fresh juice, and coffee, tea, or cocoa. The dining room is nice, and the food is pretty good. Our room was comfortable and very clean, and everyone on staff was friendly and accommodating. Pets are allowed if kept on a leash. One warning, though: mosquitoes were everywhere and kept us awake, so bring a bed net.

Quiet, clean, and the service is excellent without being intrusive. A good place to get some privacy or spend time alone. This could become my new spot in Assinie. The mosquitoes are almost everywhere, though, because of the lagoon.

A calm place to unwind among the palm trees, with a nice lagoon-side location. The food is good, too.

You'll need a car to get there, but you'll enjoy it.
