Sabbat Plage

The pool was good, the food was tasty, and the beach had a nice view, though it was a bit dirty and had some vendors, mostly children. The sunbeds were old and uncomfortable. Food choices were limited and really expensive, and there aren't restaurants nearby apart from one hotel. Getting there from Abijan is easy, but you leave the car, cross a river by small boat, then take a jeep to the hotel. Our room was clean but basic, with a hard bed. Staff were friendly, but seemed lost and mixed up orders, and we couldn't get service on the beach. Reception was messy, and don't expect English speakers. They tried to sort out some issues, but the service still felt like a mess.

The beach was clean, the view was great, and the place was quiet and beautiful. We stayed three nights and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and the food was good. I highly recommend it.

Very bad. The AC barely worked, and when I complained they denied the problem and argued instead of apologizing. The road to the hotel isn't good either. They also have a boat transfer, but nobody mentioned it when we booked. Worst hospitality, and I'd never visit this hotel again or recommend it to anyone.

The lake from the online photos was empty, smelly, and full of plastic, and the pool was green and filthy, so neither was usable. Our room cost 90.000fcfa per night and had cockroaches. The water was brown and stank, so we couldn't shower. We had to pay for the room in advance, and staff searched our bags when we arrived. Service was awful too. Staff were rude and unaccommodating. Food cost twice as much as at other places, took 2,5 hours to arrive, and was cold. Breakfast cost 10.000 fcfa for a few pastries. Management said they were getting complaints but did nothing. Assinie maffia is cheaper and at least you get what you pay for. For this level of service and food, the price should have been at least half. The pictures are deceptive and don't show what you actually get.
