The views are great, and I had an excellent stay overall. The room was okay, though housekeeping kept leaving just one towel. Service in the main building was almost perfect. Everyone was lovely, especially mr kwassi, who speaks perfect english. At the beach, things felt slower and a little lazy. Braised chicken took about an hour, for example, and most of the menu items weren't available.

Being right by the sea made for a fabulous stay, and I had a really good time. The food, employees, and service were all wonderful. Don't miss the fire night by the beach, it was awesome ❤️❤️❤️

The restaurant service today was weak, with even simple things missing. The 2023 renovation made the place worse. Before, it was charming, with fairly spacious authentic rooms and good service. The current rooms are closer to Singapore style in size, and the cheap materials show. The bathroom smells bad, possibly because of poorly planned plumbing. There's no way to air it out except through the room or a tiny window without a mosquito net. Sorry, this job wasn't done well.
