Arcadia Retreat Rarotonga

Neil was a fantastic host and went out of his way to help us. We stayed for almost two weeks upstairs in a colonial style house at Arcadia Retreat, and had a great time. It’s not right on the beach, but the walk is only about 80-100 m. The place is very quiet apart from the wild Red Junglefowl, and we often had the pool to ourselves. We loved leaving the windows and French doors open onto the deck. The large private veranda was great for eating outside, and we could cook some of our own food. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The pool was a lovely place to read, and we enjoyed the poolside BBQ and gazebo. A wonderful place to stay on this relaxed island. We highly recommend it!

Neil was friendly and very accommodating, answered all our questions, and offered great tips about the island. We had a wonderful time at Arcadia Retreat. Our beautiful villa was well equipped, and the whole property, from the garden to the grill area and poolside, was stunning. We really enjoyed our stay and got to embrace the island experience. We’d love to come back, and highly recommend Arcadia Retreat if you’re visiting Rarotonga! 😊

The villa was spacious and clean, with king-sized beds in the bedrooms. Food, coffee, and essentials are all within walking distance, and Neil is an excellent host and a great source of information for enjoying your stay. We had a great time at Arcadia Retreat and absolutely loved it. We’ll be back!

There are only three units, which gives The Arcadia a lovely boutique feel. The accommodation is spacious and has all the usual amenities, and the incredible pool was often all ours because the resort is so small. The beach is just across the road, and Beluga is nearby for morning coffee. Neil’s a great host, with plenty of recommendations and good chat. I’ll definitely be back!
