Cabañas La Querencia

We’ve stayed at La Querencia three times, and each visit has been fantastic. Every cabin has its own character, with a quincho and terrace, and they’re well equipped. There are only four cabins across a spacious property, with a nicely cared-for pool and a good mix of native and exotic plants. It’s a great spot to unwind.

Everything is very peaceful, and the well-kept vegetation makes the whole place feel like one big garden. The cabins are clean and roomy.

The host was fantastic, and the cabin had everything needed for a good rest. It was comfortable and beautiful, with easy access to downtown Algarrobo, supermarkets, and beaches. A lovely place to relax, highly recommended.

The place is still quiet and pleasant for a relaxing break, and the pool and location are good. We’d last visited the cabin two years ago, then recently decided to return for three days. This time, though, cleaning was a real problem: cobwebs were everywhere, from ceilings and corners to tables and the barbecue area. There were lots in the closets where you put your clothes, too. That’s a serious concern when nobody takes responsibility for spider bites except through legal action. The sofa was also in terrible shape and gave me more back pain than I felt comfortable with for the rest of my family. The grill needs attention as well, with lots of ash and the grill itself in very poor condition.
