I was in Angol on business and stayed in Room 8 at Hotel 202. The private parking was a real plus, giving me some peace of mind with the car. I also slept well on the comfortable bed, and there was good-quality internet and hot water whenever I needed it. The room was spotless and tidy, and the facilities were comfortable and practical. Breakfast had a good range, including fruit, cereal, bread, and dessert. It suited what I needed for a pleasant, hassle-free business stay.

I was in town for work during the pulp mill maintenance period, when all the hotels were full. Book ahead, because this is the best place in Angol. The location is good, with a Peruvian restaurant a block away and a closed parking lot across the street. Breakfast was delicious, the service was excellent, and the wait staff were really friendly. Highly recommended.

The price is hard to justify, especially with such a poor breakfast. The juice is powdered and tastes bad, there's no coffee beans, and the fruit is only served whole. The receptionist also handles the food, despite having painted nails, which goes against health and safety rules. She's the receptionist, cook, and waitress. We recommend visiting the Royal Hotel in Victoria to see the significant areas for improvement. It felt like a cheap circus, and we don't recommend staying here. There are some good points: it's modern and attractive, well located, with lovely gardens and plenty of parking. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable, and the hotel, towels, and sheets are clean. But the shower stall is small and inadequate, and the soap is poor quality. The windows aren't marked, and a risk prevention specialist should assess them for hazards such as collisions. Evacuation routes aren't clearly laid out either.
