The staff at breakfast were a bright spot: the morning receptionist and the woman looking after breakfast were both attentive, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast itself was decent and included. The pool was cold, seemed unused, had no showers, and was only partly filled. The place also wasn’t very clean, and the furniture and bathroom showed a lot of wear. There was mold on one mattress. For what it offers, the hotel is way overpriced. I assume there are much better places to stay in Arica.

The rooms are clean and the hotel is nice, though they’re a bit small. There’s a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and massage service. The receptionist could have been friendlier and more interested. Still, an excellent hotel.

I’d booked for Carnival and called the place myself to check. They assured me everything was fine, so I bought my tickets. Then, just three days before the trip, they messaged to cancel because of a “system error.” Trips like this take a lot of planning: time off work, arrangements beforehand, connecting travel, and affordable lodging. Finding somewhere within budget at such short notice is incredibly hard. This company was unprofessional, and I’m posting this so it doesn’t happen to someone else. I don’t think you can count on them.

The room was a little small but had air conditioning, and breakfast was a bit weak. The parking felt very good to me overall: it’s private and spacious, so if you don’t need to use the car often, it’s excellent. The drawback is that you need a private lock.

The pool was wonderful, and you’re just steps from the beach. They also have spa facilities. Staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and breakfast delicious. Excellent hotel.
