Such a gem tucked away in a local beach town. The hosts made us feel welcome right away, and they were attentive throughout. The house and rooms have been beautifully renovated, with charming, quirky decor and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. Breakfast in the morning was exquisite, and they gave us great suggestions for local bites and restaurants farther away. They clearly know and care about the area, and share that love with their guests. It’s also LGBTQ+ friendly, which is lovely for supporting the community. I’d stay again.

The B&B has a real commitment to renewable, green practices, from solar power to repurposed furnishings and a sustainable mindset. Breakfast is included, and local craft beer and wine are available to buy. Tucked into the hills of Cartegena, Patio Ferreiro is a short walk from playa chica, with panoramic views and a warm welcome. Sebastian, Adolpho, and Christian offered wonderful hospitality and made it feel like an authentic chilean experience. A fantastic stay!

Architect Adolfo Aranda brought an old abandoned house in a traditional neighbourhood of the City back to life. Now Patio Ferreiro B&B is a cozy, stylish, comfortable base for visitors from around the world to start discovering Cartagena and the Coast of Poets. It’s the first boutique hostel in Cartagena.
