Those floor-to-ceiling views of the lake and Andes from the newly opened cabins were hard to leave, especially at sunrise. We spent three full days at the lodge after driving the Carretera Austral from Coyaique to Mallin Colorado, and it worked well as a base for the Confluence, Marble Caves, Maqui Waterfall, and Parque Nacional. Meals were a real highlight. The chefs put out full-course lunches and dinners that were better than we expected from an ecolodge, and we didn't mind the 200-meter walk back to our cabin afterward. Barbara and Camilla, the hostess, looked after us so well. We also went on a guided horseback ride with Camille. At the viewpoint we could see and hear the glacier across the lake, and even with little riding experience, I'd say give it a try.

The shared spaces felt really cosy, and we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The lodge has a lovely rustic atmosphere and striking views across the lake. Our room was fine, if fairly ordinary, but there was a slightly unpleasant smell. I also wish the windows had insect screens, since they were definitely needed.

We loved the quiet, remote setting and the separate cabins looking out toward the lake and mountains. It makes a good starting point for things to do around the area, even though it's away from the towns. The hosts were great and the food was delicious. Really recommend it.

We loved our time here. The setting is exquisite, the staff were wonderfully caring, and the food was delicious. It was such an extraordinary hospitality experience that, if you get the chance to stay, take it and soak it all in. Soooo good!
