The room was lovely, and Rodolfo was friendly and made sure I had what I needed. Breakfast was great too. What really stood out was how he helped me prepare for a remote, high-altitude crossing into Argentina when heavy rain and snow were forecast. He helped me complete an extra form I hadn't known I might need, and called the authorities to check that the route was open. I appreciated the care. I'd happily recommend this unusual place.

The host was so kind and attentive, and breakfast in the morning was a lovely surprise. The rooms are spacious and bright. I'll come back whenever I'm passing through Cochrane.

For our honeymoon, we spent two nights in Kalfu's cabin with a loft, which suits 2-3 people. It was clean, roomy, well equipped, and had a king-size bed. The family who runs Kalfu were wonderfully welcoming, with fresh breakfast foods each day. On Election Day, every restaurant was closed, so Rodolfo and his family put together dinner for us and we watched the election with them. A professional, well-run place with honest, warm people. Highly recommend it.

It's quiet but still close to the center, and there's a nice outdoor store attached. My room was clean and spacious. Rodolfo was friendly and caring, served a fantastic breakfast, and had plenty of activity tips.
