The property itself is beautiful, and we otherwise had a lovely stay, but checkout was marred by a payment problem. My fiancée and I booked through a popular online hotel booking platform and paid when we made the booking. At checkout, the hotel said it hadn't received payment from the platform, so we had to pay again in person. Why can someone book through a popular platform if these problems exist between the property and the platform? Why didn't the hotel tell us when we checked in, instead of waiting until checkout? If the property is having payment issues with the platform, why is that the customer's problem? Shouldn't they work it out between themselves, or remove the property from the platform? We also didn't appreciate being told we'd paid much less than we should have because of this payment “error.” We simply paid the advertised rate. How the property handled the whole issue says a lot, and the customer service was very much lacking. I couldn't in good conscience recommend staying here after our experience.

I loved being able to hear the waves hitting the shore all night. The staff gave us lovely attention, and the property is beautiful. We walked easily to a nice restaurant in town for lunch, then came back to relax in the spa. Dinner is reserved for guests, and they were very attentive even with strict food preferences such as vegan or vegetarian. Definitely recommend it for a nice romantic getaway.

We visited in the off-season, so the skies were overcast, but it was still so worth it. The senior suite is cozy, with a gorgeous ocean view. We left the patio door open all night to listen to the water hitting the rocks. This hotel is amazing.

The beach right outside is perfect for a morning run, and the water views are incredible. The hotel is gorgeous, and the food is delicious, especially handy when we get back late and don't want to head out again. We've held a sales meeting in the conference room too, which had everything we needed, including a projector and whiteboards. My colleagues and I return whenever work brings us to Quillota. It's a bit far and a bit expensive, but absolutely worth it. Nowhere else feels right. It's my home away from home in Chile, practically paradise for me.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay. The owner makes you feel like family, and the welcoming decor, wonderful food, and impeccable service made the whole experience amazing.
