Atacama Suites

The rice was creamy and delicious, and the meat was cooked just right. I’d come back even if I weren’t staying there. The service was great too. I saw people send food back more than once, and the staff kept helping them with the same friendly attitude.

I was very disappointed with the meal. Everything was too salty, service dragged, and part of our order never arrived. They had no lemon for the pisco sour or mojito, and nobody offered dessert or came back to take our order after the main course. There weren’t any napkins either, so I had to fetch some from another table. A bad choice for a hotel restaurant.

I’ve eaten here several times for lunch and it’s been reliable. The dining room is calm and quiet, as you’d expect at a hotel like this. The menu changes each year, and there’s also a daily set option with an appetizer and main, plus a dessert or drink. I especially like the Tuna and Mango with the house sauce, and the fruit salad comes in just the right portion.

The portions on the lunch menu were about right, and the service was very good. I’d rather have both a drink and dessert included instead of having to choose one.
