We planned one night on the way from Santiago to Patagonia, but ended up staying two and visiting the nearby hot springs. This family-run place is about a kilometer off the Panamerican highway, so it worked really well as a break along the route. The rooms were clean and roomy, with comfy beds and cozy wood decor, and the hotel sits in a beautiful setting. Their restaurant was amazing too. 100% recommended!

The owners, Don Coco and his wife, are gracious hosts, and their care shows in the details. They also run a steakhouse and brewery right on the premises. The garden is kept meticulously, and the place felt safe and peaceful. The hotel is just off the highway as you enter Gorbea, with native wood throughout, spacious comfortable rooms, air conditioning, fresh linens, and beautiful bathrooms. We used to stop in Los Angeles on earlier trips, but next time we'll choose Gorbea. Hope to come back soon.

Gorbea is such a peaceful place, and this is a great stop when you're traveling and need to rest. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, and clean. There's also a restaurant with delicious food and really good service. I recommend it.

You can't hear the noise from outside in the rooms, and the warm water is much appreciated. There’s good parking and a delicious breakfast, too. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Wonderful, highly recommended, by far the best you can find in Gorbea.
