The location was the only good part: 5-10 min from the airport and 20 min from the main street. Breakfast was extremely poor and exactly the same every day: 3 toasts per person, 1 tiny muffin, some cheese and ham. No vegetables or fruit. They weren’t willing to accommodate special dietary requirements, so we had to bring our own food. We got less and less cheese and ham each day. Apart from breakfast, there was nobody around to ask questions or report an issue. Our WhatsApp message is still unanswered.

The hotel accepted our booking through a third-party site despite having no rooms available. Then it refused multiple calls from the site asking it to refund our payment. I wouldn’t trust making a reservation here.

The room lacked basic things for the price: no mini-fridge or television, and the air conditioner was visibly dirty, with dust and filthy filters that clearly hadn’t been maintained in a long time. Cleaning was practically nonexistent. They never vacuumed, didn’t move things to clean properly, and the bathroom smelled bad from the first day. They even took my pajamas off the bed and left them anywhere, which showed no care or professionalism. I stayed nine days, and every morning the “breakfast” was the exact same sliced bread, cheese, and ham, served between 8:30 and 10:00 am. That’s a completely inadequate time for guests who need to plan their day. For the price they charge, the service was unacceptable. The poor conditions and lack of hygiene made the place unreliable. I hope they improve, because right now the experience is simply shameful.

During our seven-day stay, sleeping was torture. The bed was literally a plank, the sheets weren’t changed all week, and towels were changed only every three days, if we were lucky. The shower and curtain were covered in dirt and grime, and there were mushrooms. We also ended up dealing with cockroaches. The hygiene was outrageous, and the place felt unsanitary and disrespectful to guests. There was no reception and nobody around during the day if you needed help. The rooms were depressing and lacked basics like a refrigerator or television. Breakfast was the same monotonous, lifeless thing every day. From the start we got appalling service from an extremely rude, unempathetic manager. Hostal Manureva is far from being a hotel. My experience was awful. Avoid it at all costs.

The breakfast was awful, and we couldn’t even get a knife for it or help finding a taxi. There’s no reception, and there was never anyone to ask when we needed something. The room was dirty, had dated furniture, uncomfortable beds with worn sheets, and a musty smell. The place is way out of town. This was the only bad part of our whole trip to Chile, and I wouldn’t even call it a hotel.
