Hostal Jofre

I stayed here with a friend in the off-season. It was a great price, close to almost everything, and had everything we needed.

There’s a lovely garden and a small patio where you can relax. The hostel is simple, clean, and comfortable, with basic rooms that work well for travelers looking for an affordable, rustic place. Wi-Fi is available, and there’s a small café with free tea and coffee, plus a microwave guests can use. It’s a few blocks from the bus terminal, stadium, and hospital. The friendly owner runs the place. Keep in mind it’s cash only.

Don Antonio, the manager, gave excellent service. The hostel is quiet and in a great spot, close to everything.

The elderly gentleman was really friendly and helpful, and the location was good. My room was clean and the hot water was adequate. The kitchen felt incomplete since there was no way to cook, and both the microwave and oven had very low power. Wi-Fi worked better in the garden, while the signal in my room was very poor. Breakfast was very basic, just toast with cheese and hot water.
