The sea-facing rooms have an amazing view. It’s a comfortable place in a good location, though having a car would make it easier to get around. There are two large pools, a tennis court, and a lake with free kayaks.

The apartment was decent, though getting the hot water tank fixed took a while. The pool is nice and has a sandy beach, and I only found out about the surfing and windsurfing lessons on our last day. For food, it’s a 15-20 minute walk along the beach, which wasn’t great late at night with kids, or even alone, given the safety concerns and the cold. I liked staying here through Airbnb, but wish there were places to eat closer by.

It’s a popular Airbnb spot with reasonable rates, and there’s a guarded gate giving direct access to the beach. Every apartment has at least some ocean view. The small shop on the property is handy for basics like drinks, snacks, toilet paper, and soap.

The view is lovely and the pool is huge, but you can’t swim in it, and beach access is restricted. It’s a bit of an odd place.
