The location is excellent, the view is beautiful, and the apartment is new with nice furniture. But there are so many details that need attention: dirty dishes, a musty smell, broken faucets, poor lighting in places, and curtains and paint that need work. The lights and general upkeep need more care too. There was no mop, and basic information about the building services was missing. The owner needs to be more attentive to the apartment and its maintenance. A bar across the street was very noisy late into the night. For the rent, these details should be taken care of. I do recommend the place, but it needs attention to reach a 10. Right now, it’s a 6.

The location is excellent, right on the beachfront and close to everything, and the view is beautiful. But the condition of the apartment needs work. The kitchen is poorly lit, and the very old faucets barely function and urgently need replacing, including those in the kitchen and bathroom sinks and the showers. The dining chairs also need attention, and the bedroom TV had no remote. Some appliances were rusty, and the place wasn’t very clean. For the price, it urgently needs renovation and more care from the owner. The view isn’t everything. We were there during the earthquake, and it was terrible. Water, gas, and electricity were cut off for a while, and our phones received a tsunami alert. Despite all those problems, the owner wouldn’t refund our money so we could leave. The lesson for me is to ask what happens in a natural disaster before renting.
