The rooms are tiny, each with its own little bathroom, in a small house that's been converted into four or five rooms. Breakfast is basic, just bread, butter and cheese, so bring your own coffee and muesli. The house is right beside the main road, and it can get really loud.

We were only passing through, but I wouldn't stay here again. The place felt abandoned, and the person looking after us was unfriendly. Breakfast had been sitting in the fridge since the afternoon before: a little pâté, mortadella that tasted bad, and two slices of cheese. The room seemed to have been made up without changing the bed or pillow, since both had hair on them. There was no shampoo or other basic toiletries, and the dishes and cutlery were dusty, like they'd been put away for a long time. The decor fit the theme, but the place was poorly cared for, and cleanliness and order didn't seem to matter.

We were treated thoroughly and well, and both the accommodation and food service were excellent.

If we'd needed help during our stay, there was no one to turn to. We arrived Friday and Maricel greeted us warmly and showed us our room, but after that we never saw her again. The facilities are very good quality, with a nice rustic style, but the service was basically nonexistent. We only found out about the boarding school-style rules after booking and paying. We had to bring our own towels, and there was no shampoo. Breakfast was left in a tray in the fridge overnight. The first morning there was enough milk for both of us, but the next there wasn't. The portions were meager and poor quality, just mortadella and cheese. Nobody cleaned the room or emptied the bathroom bin. At checkout I couldn't find anyone to hand the keys to. I called the owner, who rang back almost an hour later, when I was already on my way home. I left the keys in the door and went.

The host was kind and kept checking that we were comfortable, always happy to answer our questions. The cabin itself was beautiful, cozy, comfortable, nicely decorated, and well equipped. There's a pool and hot tub, and shops nearby are easy to reach on foot. It's in Limache, just steps from Olmué, and feels like a great place to unwind and disconnect any time of year. We'll definitely come back. 1000% recommended.
