I’ve stayed here a couple of times since a friend first suggested it, and I’d recommend it too. The service and price are both very good. It’s one block from the beach and on the corner of the central square, with everything close enough to reach on foot. I marked down the location because I’d hoped to have a sea view. Outside the summer season, the town is quiet. The hotel feels family friendly and has different areas for working or relaxing.

The hygiene here was completely unacceptable. My room had long black hairs and stains from the start, including hairs on the toilet, and it was never properly cleaned. The floors, walls, doors, and blankets were stained too. The toilet was clogged and the door was broken. There was garbage stored between the kitchen and rooms, so I could smell it first thing in the morning. The room lights were harsh, bright white, like a hospital. Breakfast wasn’t anything special.

The owners are a very nice local couple, and it’s clear they care about providing good service. Staying here felt more like being at home than being away. I’m sure I’ll come back if, or when, I travel to Chile again.
