The atmosphere is nice, with vintage-looking furniture that gives the old house a romantic feel. But we came with high expectations and were so, so disappointed. The wait for food and drinks was extremely long, and the food wasn’t very good. Chile has lots of good Peruvian restaurants, but this isn’t one of them. My lomo saltado came with rice that was really old, hard, and dry. Unacceptable.

We got a Pisco Sour on the house, and the service was really friendly. The food was delicious, though a bit pricey, so it was worth going overall. The place was clean and the wait was quick. The decor is great and picturesque. It was oddly quite empty, but it was low season.

The photos here are misleading, and this isn’t an upscale place. Still, the architecture is impressive and full of character, enough to make the property worth visiting on its own.
