You can hear the waterfalls for most of the year, and the cabin sits in a quiet spot surrounded by native forest. The octagonal, three-story design feels like a treehouse version 2.0, with three bathrooms and a viewing terrace. It's in Shangri-La, Las Trancas Valley, and has a feng-shui feel. Spectacular!
Tucked away from the noise of the main road, it's a great place to unwind. The cabins have lovely finishes and feel cozy, with plenty of room for families or a group of friends.
We'd be happy to come back in winter. The residence is spacious, has a fully equipped kitchen, and lovely views. There's lots of native vegetation around, and the location is accessible for all kinds of vehicles. The one thing I'd add is a swimming pool.
The fireplace was the one issue: we couldn't get it lit because the air intake was so dirty. Otherwise, the setting is beautiful, and the cabin was clean, comfortable, blissful, and well-equipped.
A lovely, quiet summer spot with a hot tub, just right for spending time with family and reconnecting.
