The owner was a kind elderly woman, and staying here felt more like visiting my grandmother than being at lodging. I came across the place while searching for an inexpensive dorm in Puerto Montt, but it turned out to be a private room, at a fairly affordable rate compared with nearby hostels, even though it wasn't listed on the map. The kitchen and bathroom were clean, as you'd expect in a private home. There’s a bus stop close by, and a big, cheap supermarket just around the corner to the right and straight ahead. I recommend it for backpackers. I'm the first reviewer! Kind of proud, and part of me wants to keep this place all to myself.
