A pretty awesome place, affordable and homey. The owner is helpful and the house has good energy. It's someone's home, so don't expect a purpose-built hostel.

After five months of travel across three continents, this was still my favorite hostel in the world. The homely atmosphere and the wonderful people staying there made it hard to beat. I hadn't booked anything in the Torres del Paine park ahead of time, but Nelson (owner) helped me book campsites, plan a route and rent all the gear I needed, at a very fair price. Thanks so much, Nelson and Tania, for making me feel at home on the other side of the world. I'll never forget you and your wonderful home. And Chollo, of course!

We loved this hostel so much that we added extra nights at the end of our trip and cancelled the nights we'd booked elsewhere. The owners were friendly and incredibly helpful with gear rentals and planning our trek, just some of the best people we met on our backpacking trip. They also have the sweetest animals for company. It really feels like a home (: If we're ever back in Puerto Natales, we know where we'll stay!

The owner was great about answering our questions and sharing useful information. My sister and I loved the warm, welcoming feel, almost like a cozy cabin, and everything was clean and organized. It was also an easy walk to the bus station and the Main Street shops. We’d definitely recommend it.
