Casa Pumahue

Rodolfo was so kind and helpful, sharing tips about the area and making sure we had what we needed. He speaks perfect English, too. The dome at Casa Puma Hue is cozy, and the bed was comfortable. We had everything for cooking, plus an outdoor grill we didn’t end up using. The hot tub came with gowns to keep us warm afterward. After driving around for a few hours, we got our best view yet of the volcano on a clear day. It was cloudy at night, so we couldn’t see any stars, though the setup lets you look for them from bed. 10/10.

The cabin is cozy, the bed is comfy, and the hosts are great. From bed, you can watch the stars, then enjoy a lovely view over morning coffee. Beautiful and so relaxing.

Incredible mountain views from a great cabin.

Our three nights in the fully equipped Tiny House were excellent. It was set among peaceful nature, with a privileged view of the Osorno volcano, and made for a comfortable stay. In Ensenada, the location also made it easy to get to Petrohué Falls, the Cascadas waterfalls, and the road to Cochamó. A highlight was the private hot tub: for once, the water was at just the right temperature exactly when we wanted it. Many thanks to Rodolfo for his help and great suggestions for exploring the area. Definitely a place I’d recommend.
