Hotel Duham

The people at Purén were all so kind, and Paola's service was hard to beat. The place was lovely, clean, and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and good heating. It’s in a good location, and the food was delicious. I loved getting to know this beautiful place.

Breakfast was the best I’ve had in my three weeks in Chile, with absolutely everything: tea or coffee, butter, cherry jam, rolls, cereal, hot milk, ham, cheese, eggs, cake, and yogurt. I also had a very good meal at the adjoining restaurant, and the service was great. The hotel itself was excellent, and the room and bathroom looked brand new.

The breakfast on the terrace was spectacular, and parking was available to us, which mattered a lot. I don’t know if that’s always the case. The Hotel Duham is very nice and welcoming, with spotless, modern rooms. I’m sharing this about Hotel Duham because it’s separate from the Rayun Restaurant, a distinction some reviewers seem to miss.

The warm atmosphere made it feel like being at home, and Paola, the owner and chef, gave excellent service. The food and drinks were delicious. It’s a great choice for a stay in Puren, or if you’re after something more substantial than chicken in its own juices with rice.
