The room wasn’t very clean, and moths were flying around inside. Its window couldn’t close because the mechanism was broken. Still, the location was good, within walking distance of the city center, and the breakfast buffet included with the room was great. From the upper floors there’s a nice mountain view. An okay hotel for a small Chilean city.

We stopped here in June '23 while heading south from Santiago. The location was easy to find, with plenty of parking, and the staff were attentive. We had a lovely room and excellent food options. I’d come back.

The breakfast wasn’t a buffet for obvious reasons, and you could either have it brought to your room or eat in the restaurant, which had limited capacity. As of November the third, Rancagua city had partly reopened public places like bars and restaurants, so the hotel restaurant was open until 21:30. The room was fine for a night, nothing special. Like another Diego de Almagro hotel farther south, in a city I can’t remember, the soundproofing was poor. Even with double panel windows, outside noise could still get in.

I keep staying here when I’m in Rancagua. It’s clean, breakfast is decent and free, and good restaurants and grocery stores are easy to reach on foot.
