We came because the property accepts pets. The cabin itself was lovely, tastefully decorated and equipped with what we needed, with a balcony overlooking a big walnut tree and a beautiful view. The grounds are also beautiful and full of plants, and you can tell a lot of effort went into them. The main problem was mice in the roof. They kept making noise all night. The first night it startled us, and although we saw them the second night and knew what the sounds were, we still had a hard time sleeping. I have videos of the noise. We arrived at 2:50 pm, and the hostess reminded us about four times that check-in was at 3. I understand the time, but when you're somewhere new, it's hard to know how long things will take. I found her somewhat rude.
