Casa Lickana B&B Bed&Breakfast

Housekeeping did a lovely job, and they leave drinking water in each room every day. The room was great, with a bathroom much larger than I expected. The younger woman working evenings was pleasant and helpful, and her English was surprisingly good. I never quite worked out how breakfast worked at this bed and breakfast, though that may just be me. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We spent four lovely nights at Casa Lickana. It’s simple and affordable, with everything in town within walking distance. The people are truly wonderful, very kind, and they really do their best to meet your needs.

We liked having a quiet, homey place near shops and restaurants, but away from the busiest part of town. As adultos mayores, we’re not into bars, so evenings in the courtyard suited us well. It was great to park our rental car behind a locked gate, and the staff went above and beyond.

The hotel itself was wonderful, and the staff were kind and attentive. They went out of their way to accommodate my husband’s allergies at breakfast, which was included. The cleaning was immaculate, the room was spacious, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. We loved having a dining table on the patio as well as a private area out back. There’s also a private hot tub you can use once for free during your stay. For the price, this was amazing, and honestly my favorite hotel stay. It’s on the town’s main street, with restaurants, shops and tour offices about five minutes away on foot. My one complaint is about the airport transfer service they work with: it was over an hour and a half late bringing us to the hotel, and very late again when picking us up. The service isn’t run by the hotel, and the staff seemed fed up with it too. I’d choose something other than Transvip. Casa Lickana did try to make it up to us and apologized anyway.
