I’d probably stay more than a day if coming from Santiago. The grounds are spacious and well cared for, with green areas that are lovely for solitude and reconnecting with nature. It’s a beautiful place for group spiritual and social activities, with significant heritage value and a well preserved setting. There’s a cafeteria, and you can buy local crafts and wines to support the work of the Focolare movement. In the small chapel there’s a first-class relic of Teresa of the Andes. Ask the community who live there and they’ll tell you its story. I’ll most likely return. I don’t think it’s advisable for school groups, though, and feel it’s better suited to adults.

I lived in that old house when I was about five, long before it became a café, and I know every corner. I have so many wonderful memories there. After all these years, I finally returned to that place from my childhood. Walking in and seeing how much had changed made me cry. The kitchen and its smells were no longer the same. I still get so emotional thinking about it, and hope to return someday, God willing, to tell everyone about that part of my past. I’ll carry that story in my heart forever.

Steeped in history and magnificent. Definitely a must-see.

The hosts’ warm welcome feels truly special. With its beautiful gardens and ancient trees, this is an ideal spot to unwind and connect with nature’s healing power.

The people at the Center welcomed us so warmly and made us feel right at home. They answered our questions, looked after what we needed, and served delicious food. I highly recommend the place!
