A secure, pleasant complex in the downtown historic district, near shops, sights, and great food.

I chose a flat in this building for a longer stay because of the rooftop pool. It was closed at first, and nobody could give me clear information about why or when it might open. Then, around New Year's, the administration decided to let individuals use it, with just 24 hours' notice. They say to be patient if a service person isn't immediately available to open it. The people working there seem completely out of touch with reality.

The neighborhood was quiet and made it easy to go out and see things. The host was friendly and accommodating, though he didn't leave any checkout instructions. The room we booked through Airbnb was filthy. Food was smeared on the walls and stuck to dishes, the pillows were long overdue for replacement and very dirty, and I wouldn't recommend looking inside the electric kettle. That's just a few examples, nearly everything was dirty. It was okay overall, but the place was pretty gross.
