The area is good and the services offered are good too, but the way we were treated left a lot to be desired. My company booked the apartment in my name. After noticing cleaning complaints in reviews on despegar, I called the listed number to ask them to pay attention to cleanliness, since one of my work travel companions has allergies. The owner handled the request badly, saying she wasn't there for "exquisite" demands and making what seemed like a classist insult, then canceled the reservation. I don't think asking for a clean apartment in Providencia is asking too much, especially given the rental price.

The apartment was thoroughly cleaned and a great option, close to everything. The manager provided fantastic service.
