DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Santiago - Vitacura

We had great room service food, even though we ordered during a holiday when service can be below par. The kid's menu burger looked unimpressive but tasted really good, and the fries were great. The Caesar salad was especially impressive, with crisp, beautiful lettuce and plenty of chicken once mixed with the dressing. The bread that was meant to come with it never arrived. I was looking forward to it, but didn't mention it. My daughter had the adult spaghetti with pomodoro, and I had the kid's cheeseburger. It was simple but good. Given the prices and quality, I think a burger or main dish could have been more impressive. We also ordered a fresh fruit bowl, which was delicious. Room service was very good and reasonably priced. With the fees and tips included, it felt worth it compared with normal hotels. I'm a diamond member, so I have a basis for comparison. We had room 819, a junior suite King on the 8th floor. It was clean and good, and the amenities smelled great. You can hear noise from elsewhere inside the hotel, but not from outside the hotel room. The water took a while to warm up. Otherwise, it was a good room in a great location, and the front staff were amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful. My daughter also had cheesecake with red sauce from the cafe downstairs. It reminded me of my homemade cheesecake, which is amazing. They included us in the pictures, so I couldn't add more. Great stay!

Gonzalo greeted us when we arrived and was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We had an early morning flight, so getting checked in quickly was much appreciated. His warmth and kindness brought a smile to our tired faces. Give that man a raise! The other services were great too. We had an excellent stay at the double tree Hilton in chile, and next time we're in Santiago we'll stay there because of Gonzalo. Thank you very much.

The staff were excellent. They noticed my gold status and offered amenities. Breakfast had plenty of variety at the buffet, and they refilled the food quickly, though the restaurant gets busy. Wi-Fi was fast, and the water pressure and temperature were good. My room was very warm with the afternoon sun, but the AC worked very well. The area felt safe, though a little quiet on weekends. Rooms vary, and maintenance could be better: some sinks drain very slowly. The spa wasn't great. I've had better massages elsewhere for less.

I stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel on Vitacura in Santiago in January 2026. My room had two double beds, was clean and comfortable, and the AC worked very well. The bathroom was a good size, with a walk-in shower, which was a big plus for me. The staff were courteous and helpful. Felipe at reception was especially useful, sharing information about Santiago and the sites I wanted to see. The hotel has a bar and restaurant that get busy in the evenings. It's also well placed for the shopping mall and the Metro, with the nearest station less than 10 minutes away. A good starting point for exploring Santiago. Thank you, Felipe.
