Total dump. Airline delays left me needing a night there, and they handed me keys to a room that was already occupied. I opened the door and woke another guest. What kind of place does that? It didn’t seem safe at all. The receptionist just apologized and said it happens when the system is offline. The place is old and moldy, stay away!

The location felt unsafe to me as a solo female traveler, and parking was two blocks away, a real hassle with big luggage. I had a ski bag with me. The photos look nice, but this is nowhere near a 4-star hotel; I’d put it at 2-3 stars. The bedroom and bathroom were extremely dated, there was mold in the bathroom, and the bedroom felt very dirty.

The rooms are tiny and there’s no soundproofing at all, so you hear EVERYTHING from the corridors and neighboring rooms. I’d also skip the gym: it’s run down and has no air conditioning. The power went out while I was running on the treadmill, and I nearly fell. The hotel itself looks lovely and sits near some very nice cafes and restaurants. The staff are helpful, and the food and drinks are really, really good. Walter, who served me last night, was exceptional and made some of the best margaritas I’ve ever had. Those room and gym problems are why I’m giving it only 3 stars.

The location is central, with the historic town center easy to reach. My 7th-floor room was so small I couldn’t open two large suitcases, and there was no table or chair to work at, so I had to use my laptop in the lobby. The safe was difficult to operate.
