Hotel Sauken

The location was good, though the rooms felt small and dated.

The one thing we liked was the location. Everything else made us not want to come back: the room was filthy and smelled bad, and the bedding had all sorts of stains. The receptionist's service was disappointing, and the management seemed poor. We could hear everything around us. The shower flooded the floor, the heating and air conditioning didn't work, and there wasn't much bedding. It looked inexpensive at first, but I wouldn't stay here again.

We barely slept, even with headphones on top of the blanket. The walls are so thin that every bit of outside noise carries through, and the manager apparently thought running the washing machines at 11 PM was a good idea. The room was dirty, with stained sheets and hair, and it smelled bad. The bathroom was in rough shape, and even the floor showed it hadn't been swept. A terrible place.

We couldn't sleep at all. Noise from the washing machines and other rooms kept us up, along with guests arriving late and shouting. The machines and dryers apparently ran all night, which made an already awful night even worse. The sheets were stained and had hairs on them, and didn't smell clean, so I doubt they had been washed. Neither the bedroom nor bathroom floor had been swept, and there was no sign of cleaning. We only stayed one night, but there were plenty of problems. The hotel had a good rating on Booking.com, yet didn't have any of the advertised amenities. Everything was awful. Please don't go.
