For one night, it was more than adequate, with good service and breakfast and a reasonable price for the area. It's an older hotel that's had a few light updates. There was no air conditioning in shared spaces like the lobby and hallways. I put a towel on the room sofa before sitting down, and the bathtub floor was raised by about 8 inches, which made getting out awkward.

The location is very good, and breakfast was good too. In the room, though, there was no heating, the bathtub water wouldn't drain, and the room locker had a problem. They also charged me for a beer I hadn't had. I didn't pay for it, but still had to sign a statement saying so.

The room was basic and small, and it didn't feel worth the price. The front desk manager was very negative when I needed to cancel one day of my booking because of the weather. The walk-in rate they offer is lower than the rate on the booking site.

It's a central, very nice location, and the staff are kind and helpful. The hotel is older, and its heating is a noisy system that blows air. Breakfast was good. I'd recommend it if you're not after anything fancy.

We only learned there were no rooms left when we got to the hotel. They had canceled our confirmed reservation.
