We arrived late at night and were lucky to get a room over the holiday long weekend. We regretted it almost immediately. The woman in charge, and I assume some other guests, talked incredibly loudly until 3 or 4 am. There's no soundproofing, so sleeping was impossible. She seemed to talk nonstop during our two nights there. Both nights we were woken up several times by the doorbell or people banging on the door for her to let them in. We had to open it for complete strangers multiple times, including once when someone banged for 20 minutes at 5 am. At first she seemed welcoming and nice, but after that she wasn't, and neither were the staff working for her. They didn't speak to me or even smile when I said good morning. Horrible place.

The place itself was good, but some guests chatted outside my room late at night. It got noisy enough that I couldn't sleep.

The hostel was noisy from the first day, with a lot of partying. On the last night a couple fought, and the man hit the woman. The managers did nothing to help them. They just told them to stop fighting, then go upstairs to party and smoke. A guy kept coming down to smoke in the kitchen, leaving my room smelling of cigarettes, while drunk people came and went and talked loudly. Staying here felt like a real risk, and it was the worst place I've ever stayed. The bed had only sheets, and the mattress was awful. That still wasn't the worst of it.

The photos gave a completely different impression from what we found. The place was filthy and smelled terrible, and the person managing the hostel was unfriendly and didn't seem suited to the job. It was a huge disappointment. If you can spend a little more, do that. These conditions aren't worth it. NOT RECOMMENDED.

We only needed somewhere decent to sleep and shower, but the atmosphere was unpleasant, the space uncomfortable, and the bathrooms dirty. Don't go. Check-in was a mess. We waited over an hour, then while we were partway through the process, new arrivals were served ahead of us. We asked the receptionist to finish with us first since we'd arrived earlier with a reservation and were tired of waiting. She took offense, yelled at us, treated us badly, and tried to send us to a chair while she did other things. It felt extremely disrespectful and abusive. The bathrooms were often dirty. Towels hadn't been provided, and when we asked, we got the usual, “wait a bit, I'll get them.” We're still waiting. The hostel is in Santiago's red-light district, which isn't a great location. They don't give you an entrance key, so if you arrive after the scheduled time, you have to depend on the receptionist to let you in. She doesn't answer the phone. We also couldn't wait at reception until check-in. We arrived in the morning with a few hours to spare, but no one was there. When we called, they told us to leave. Asked when check-in was, the person on the phone immediately said that if we'd rather stay at another hostel, they weren't interested in keeping our reservation or honoring its terms. Upstairs, the floor creaks loudly, and you can hear everything through the walls. Our room was barely 4 square meters, just enough for the bed, if you were lucky. There were no windows or ventilation.
