Wyndham Garden Santiago Kennedy

The charge was still pending, so I called right away to cancel after a booking glitch processed a payment I hadn’t meant to make. The hotel still refused to refund me. I found that unacceptable for a place of this size and reputation, especially when the technical issue was outside my control. Mistakes happen, but the refusal to work with me showed very little customer care. I expected better service and accountability from Wyndham. If fairness and flexibility matter to you, I’d think twice before booking.

This hotel is amazing, but there’s a serious problem with an older gentleman named Jose Luis who helps with video security and the front door. He takes photos of all the beautiful women. He showed my wife about 50 photos of her in different locations, which makes me think he has even more of other women who come there. I wish the manager would contact me.

The location is central, though it’s a 15-minute walk to the business district. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the breakfast is great, and the staff are both friendly and professional.

The staff were really nice and friendly, and breakfast was decent. But the hotel is old and needs a major renovation. The beds weren’t rock hard, but they weren’t as comfortable as most reviews made them sound. The pillows were a mixed bag, some okay and some terrible. Our room looked superficially clean but needed a deep clean. The bathtub needed a serious scrub, one wall was dirty, some things were stained, and even the cup provided was dirty. I was especially worried that the window could close but had no safety lock. We were on the 8th floor with small children, and that could have led to a horrific accident. I hope they fix these problems. I’d stay here only if there were absolutely no other option, and I won’t be back until they renovate.
