I stayed one night after several days of hiking. The glamping had beautiful views, yoga, and all meals included. Service was great, and breakfast was five star quality, with everything and more. The yoga session was relaxing, and the whole atmosphere was lovely. It’s close to the welcome center and the main hike up to the Torres mountains. The shared toilets weren’t always clean, but otherwise it was all great.

The first hiking day started later than planned, so we covered a little less distance. That was a small disappointment, though it didn’t take away from the trip. Our three guides, Fio, John, and Pancho, were professional, friendly, and clearly cared for the group and loved their work. The bus service was well organized, the domes were comfortable, and the food was much better than we expected. Staff and servers were cheerful, kind, and always smiling, which made for a lovely atmosphere. We were very happy with EcoCamp and had a fantastic time.

We went during EcoCamp’s last week of the season and stayed two nights. You might expect the staff to be tired and ready to leave, but everyone was friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. I can’t remember all the names, but Jonathan and Matthew were great. The camp is beautiful, the setting is stunning, and both the room domes and communal domes felt cozy, homey, and well outfitted. The food was amazing, and the breakfast spread was one of the best I’ve seen. We arranged our own excursions, so I can’t comment on those. Yoga in the yoga dome is offered twice a day, which was a big bonus. We wished we could stay longer and will recommend it to family and friends.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful, and the standard dome was peaceful and cozy. Waking up to the towers each morning was beautiful. EcoCamp felt spacious, with people able to have their own space. It’s a very different feel from the park’s refugios, many of which were very overcrowded. It’s also a plush glamping stay right by the national park. We met some lovely people, and our guides were great. Dinner looked lovely, and we appreciated the presentation and the chef’s creations. Still, several people in my group felt the portions weren’t generous enough for guests doing long day hikes or multi day treks. Some sauces and ingredient combinations were a bit too rich for me. A dinner buffet might work better for the range of food preferences.

The tours and service were great, and we were happy with the whole experience in the suite dome. It’s in an excellent spot at the foot of the mountain, with easy access to many trails. The food was fantastic, with a strong focus on vegetarian and vegan dishes. I counted about one animal protein option each night. We eat a wide variety, so it wasn’t a problem for us, though I can see it being an issue for some. The dome was better than I expected and beautiful on four of our five nights when the wind wasn’t too strong. During a storm on the other night, we could feel the bed moving with the wind and didn’t manage to sleep. The weather can be unpredictable, so bear that in mind.
