We really liked the hostel's garden and the idea of its sustainable setup, including solar power and free filtered water. The common areas are roomy, the kitchen is well equipped, and the staff are very friendly. It's also close to everything, about five minutes from the bus station and an easy walk to the city center. Our private-bathroom room was small but comfortable, with a good heater and fine water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was nice, with a cheese sandwich and homemade cookies. We'd definitely return.

We only meant to stay two nights, then kept extending until we'd been there a week. The whole place has a relaxed, thoughtful feel, with clean rooms and kitchen and helpful, friendly staff. There's also a lovely garden full of herbs. Thanks, Joaquin. Jana y Gabriel recommend it!

The permaculture approach was a nice extra, and the relaxed atmosphere with few rules suited me. I liked the dorms, especially the duvet covers, which are pretty rare in Chile. The living room and outdoor area were great too, and the guy working evenings was really kind, though I can't remember his name.

We stayed in a private room and had a great time. The garden is cozy and breakfast was nice. I noticed the complaints about the owner below, but she seems to have a lot to handle, and the place itself is run very well. To me, that matters most.

There’s a friendly duck hanging out in the garden, which was a fun bonus. I also appreciated the hostel’s low-impact approach, though the permaculture features take a little getting used to. For instance, hot water isn’t available all the time in every season. The atmosphere was warm and sociable, the staff were lovely, the kitchen was useful, and the Wi-Fi was decent. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.
