The house was clean, and the beds were quite firm, though they only had a rather warm comforter and no way to adjust the bed temperature. The bedroom windows had no sheer curtains, so keeping them open meant no privacy, while closing them made the room quite dark. The living room's 32-inch TV is practically useless and should be at least 48 inches. The bathtub safety bar is set very low, as if meant for a child rather than an adult. It's about a ten-minute walk to the plaza, in an older neighborhood that feels safe and is close to the plaza. Vicente Pérez Rosales, the main street, is quite noisy even at night, and you can hear footsteps from upstairs because the rooms aren't very soundproof.

The kitchen and private bathroom let you prepare your own meals on your own schedule and cut food costs. There's no breakfast, dining area, or housekeeping during the stay, but the apartments have what you need for an overnight visit: dishes, cutlery, a refrigerator, an electric stove, and more. That means you can bring less gear in your vehicle. The apartments are comfortable and well equipped, close to downtown Valdivia, about a 6-minute walk from the waterfront and main square, and away from traffic jams. Ask about parking within the complex, since spaces are limited and you may need to leave your vehicle outside.

The apartments were very clean and modern, and the welcome was excellent. The receptionists were available all day. One issue is that people on the street can see into the first-floor apartments. The water heaters also seem a little small.

We had an excellent apartment for two nights, but the repeated push to pay ahead was extremely annoying. We needed to exchange money when we arrived, yet they asked for 50% right away. Then at 8:30 in the morning the next day, they demanded the other 50%. It felt like they thought we'd run off, even though our car was parked there. It's a shame they don't trust us.
