The upstairs bathroom has to serve four people, but it's so cramped that getting to the tiny tub for a shower means climbing over the toilet. That feels especially dangerous for older guests. Downstairs, the main bedroom has a full-sized ensuite, which made the setup feel unbalanced for our group of five adults and one teenager.

The rooms were acceptable, but poorly built, and the driveway was in bad shape. The service was the worst part: disrespectful and condescending, and they offered things that weren't actually in the cabin. They also charged me a Booking fee even though I hadn't rented through Booking. Completely shameless, and I can't recommend the place at all.

We could get everywhere on foot from these comfortable, well-equipped cabins. They're very close to both the main beach and the center.

We came as a family for a country wedding nearby and were very happy with our stay at El Nativo. The owner offered to move us to a cabin with two bathrooms at no extra charge, which made things much easier since we were traveling with our three-month-old granddaughter. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It stayed cool during the hot day we had, and the bosca kept it warm enough on the other days. We even made lunch and dinner there once or twice.
