We had a reservation problem at our previous Hotel, and spotted this Hostal while driving. We pulled in and liked it right away. It felt homey and comfortable, and the owner made us feel at home too. After visiting the Termas that afternoon, I got one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a hostel for ages. I’m sure the termas helped, but it was perfect. Then in the morning there was homemade blueberry pie, peach jam, and coffee. What a treat. We stayed in December, which was the best time for everything.

The only drawback was the road nearby, which made it a bit noisy. Otherwise, everything was great. It’s close to town, with the lake about 10 blocks away on foot. The hostel was welcoming, and the clean, comfortable room was well equipped. I stayed one night in a simple room with a private bathroom. The price seemed fair for peak season, and they had a room available that same day. Absolutely recommended.

The owners were helpful and provided excellent service. The wood-heavy rooms have a pleasant, homey feel, and the place works well for backpackers, groups of friends, or families who enjoy hostels. Breakfast is included, and it’s only a few blocks from the center of Lican Ray.

The old house is gorgeous and beautifully kept, with big rooms, private bathrooms, and plenty of parking. It’s a comfortable, beautiful place, and the kindness of the people looking after you makes you feel very welcome. Breakfast in the morning is delicious.

We spent a week here with our three children, and had a wonderful time. It was cozy and friendly, and the people were lovely. Breakfast was included. The one thing I’d improve is cleanliness: there was even a Styrofoam container left by the previous guests when we arrived, and the place really needed vacuuming! xD
