We were nine friends on a motorcycle tour of Chile and stayed at the hotel. We parked our bikes inside its high-gate enclosure. During the night, two motorcycles were damaged with a blade below the rim, and both needed new tires. The air had also been let out of a third bike. Our mechanic said the cuts were identical and clearly made by someone, not caused by normal tire wear. The tires had been new before the trip. Given the mood in the country toward tourists, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re worried about the security of your belongings.

The hotel felt modern but homely, and I’d recommend it. We could pay by card, there was parking, and we had plenty of hot water. Cloud covered the volcano that morning, though I think the breakfast view would be great on a clear day. The only small annoyance in the room was hearing water from the air-conditioning outlet.
