Dei Templi Apart Hotel

We'd booked the rooms 3 months ahead, only to find at check-in that they weren't available. The staff member was very polite, but the only real help was looking up other places for us. Being left to find somewhere at the last minute put us in quite a jam.

The staff were pleasant and very helpful, and the room had an amazing view, with 180-degree Pacific views from the private balcony. It was clean and a good size for our one-night stay. The location was convenient too, not far from the Main Street with all the bars. A great place to stay.

I really enjoyed having breakfast on my balcony while watching the dawn over Reñaca beach. The view from the balcony is incredible, and the suites are comfortable and fully equipped, handy for a longer stay or if you want to bring groceries and eat in. The room was clean, service polite, and restaurants and bars are close by. It's in a really nice, safe area. If you enjoy walking up and down hills, you'll love it.

The location was very inconvenient without a car. Inside, the so-called apartment was really a small room with a tiny, poorly equipped kitchen squeezed into the entrance. The room and bed linen were dirty, and having breakfast served in the room sounded romantic until we realized there was so little space that we could barely move. At checkout they charged us the Chilenean tax even though tourists are exempt. They said we'd get a refund, but a huge transaction fee meant we lost 50 Euros. I sincerely hope Dei Templi puts that money toward English classes for the staff.
