The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, and I was satisfied with the service. Breakfast had several options and felt complete. The location is good, only a few blocks from the boardwalk. If you have mobility issues, you may need a taxi or Uber to stroll along San Martin Avenue. The neighborhood seemed quiet, though I didn’t go out late. There’s a taxi drop-off area off the road, just three steps from the main entrance, which is handy with older adults or children. The front desk controls entry to the building and is staffed 24/7. I stayed three nights with my 88 year old mother. The hotel is basic, with a restaurant, patio, and outdoor pool, and the prices were okay. They were considerate and friendly, but charging even for a cup of tea seems unnecessary. The snack machine has a bit of everything, but it’s extremely expensive too. I can’t believe that’s how they make money. It leaves a bad impression.

We enjoyed the location during our July stay, and there was parking underneath the hotel. Breakfast was included, with both hot and cold options, and our window had a nice view.

The room was okay, but it needs a few more things, like free mineral water and a water heater. Breakfast was simple, just scrambled egg. Management should consider what guests are looking for. There are a lot of guests from Asia these days, so an Asian breakfast option would be good.

The staff were warm and friendly, and they knew the food well. The waiters spoke Spanish, but made a real effort to communicate with guests who spoke English.
