The setting and service were good, but the food was expensive for what you got, with limited choices and little attention to detail. I went for lunch this time. I’d been there before at night for a snack and a drink, and that visit was very good.
I’ve lived in lower Miraflores with my partner for two years, and this was my first time at the café. It was a lovely surprise. The outdoor area is pleasant, and there’s a wide menu. The food was delicious and generous, with a very good price. I’ll go back.
It’s rarely busy, and you can sit outside beneath the trees or indoors. The food tastes good, though it isn’t anything remarkable. Prices are reasonable, and street parking is available nearby.
The café is still operating, though I’m not sure whether the hostel is. It’s a lovely place to meet friends or family, with a great feel in both summer and winter. Some days they have live music.
Across from the Miraflores Clinic, this café also serves lunch. It’s a calm, open-air spot that I’d recommend. Service is good, and the prices, around $1,800, seem fair for the quality. There’s no parking lot, but you can find a spot on several nearby streets.
