The staff are the real highlight, so friendly and helpful. Sebastian greeted me when I arrived and was just lovely. My room is bright, though I noticed some rooms are dark and don't have a main window. There are chipped patches in the paint and a stain on my ceiling, and a few shabby spots need attention. Still, the room is very clean, the bed is comfortable, and there's plenty of hot water. Breakfast is decent, with bread and rolls to toast, ham, cheese, jam, dulce de ledge, and some fruit. It's a sweet little hotel in a good location. There's a lovely church across the street, and I enjoy hearing its bells mark the time, though perhaps not everyone would. There's also a nice small coffee shop that locals go to.

The location feels very strategic, and the surroundings couldn't feel safer. La Quinta Vergara is across the street, while the subway and city center are a couple of blocks away. Local shops are close by, too. The staff are friendly and professional.
